Why or Why Not? COVID-19 Vaccines in the African American Communities
On Thursday, February 25 the Henry-Clayton Section of the National Council of Negro Women (HC-NCNW) will host a Zoom forum called, “Why or Why Not? COVID-19 Vaccines in the African American Communities.” This event will begin at 7 p.m. and feature several speakers from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), state agencies and leadership from Clayton and Henry counties. There will also be a short video called “Together We Can Beat COVID-19,” developed by the Stockbridge High School health class. In addition to a question and answer session, the goal of this event is to educate the African American communities in Henry and Clayton counties on the COVID-19 vaccination process.
