Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours MLK Fish Fry on January 18
Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours is hosting a special Fish Fry event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 18, from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.
The menu will feature fried fish with a choice of spaghetti or pimento cheese grits. All plates will include coleslaw and bread. The cost is $15 per person and a part of the proceeds will benefit frontline healthcare workers in the Atlanta Metro area, a cause that has been near and dear to Chef Deborah’s heart since the onset of the pandemic.
Chef Deborah VanTrece, chef and owner of Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours, noted that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is meant to be a day of service to the community, which was a big reason she chose the holiday for the event.
“Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said that ‘Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?’ As the pandemic continues to impact frontline healthcare workers in the Atlanta Metro area, I felt compelled to do something to both honor Dr. King and continue to do our part to help our heroic frontline workers here in Metro Atlanta,” said Chef VanTrece.
Guests can make a reservation through Resy. Takeout will also be available, and orders can be made by calling the restaurant directly at 404-350-5500.
