Atlanta’s Top Gourmet Gents Serve Delicacies for Teens Destinies!
ATLANTA, GA (October 31, 2019) - The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter presents the 28th Annual Gourmet Gents event – “Kings of the Kitchen Part III”, themed “Winner Takes All at City Hall”, on Sunday, November 17, 2019, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, at the Atlanta City Hall Atrium!
Calling all Foodies, Feasters, Food Buffs and Connoisseurs, come indulge in Atlanta’s premier and longstanding food event competition – The 28th Annual Gourmet Gents event – “Kings of the Kitchen, Part III!”, at the beautiful Atlanta City Hall Atrium, 55 Trinity Ave., Atlanta, GA 30303. No rationed food station tickets or restrictions here! Admissions into this event allows guests the opportunity to go on a mesmerizing journey that delivers a worldly dining festival and an entertaining experience, full of plentiful food delicacies, that tease the palette and quench the appetite, with great food and beverages.
Gents will be judged by an esteemed panel of celebrities, professional culinary chefs and notable national and local leaders. Competition categories consist of: Most Savoy Sidekick for Sides/Vegetarian, Most Mouthwatering Main, Save the Best for Last Dessert, Presentation & Artistic Appeal, 1st & 2nd Placed Junior Gents (youth), Best Overall Professional (Caterer/Restaurant), Most Appeteasing Appetizer, the “People’s Choice Award” and (New) the Gents Choice Award. Come cast your vote for the winner of the coveted “People’s Choice Award”!
The culmination of prepared mouthwatering foods and beverages; the best of Atlanta’s R&B music and entertainment – MAJIC 107.5/97.5’s DJ Frost; an exciting vendor marketplace; and engaging Celebrity Gents, Professional Athletes, and Gents alike, create an experience that you don’t want to miss! This event promises to deliver an experience for all generations – Baby Boomers to Gen Z, alike – Guests are invited to come sizzle in their hottest Urban Chic attire (no t-shirts or streetwear)!
The Gourmet Gents fundraising initiative supports the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter’s Education Program initiatives – the Award-winning Teens on the Move program (TOM), a mentoring and college preparatory program for at-risk high school girls and the Stimulate STEM (SS100) program – a Science, Engineering, Technology and Math program operated out of Brown Middle School and designed to expose at-risk and under-represented girls to the skills and education that will prepare them for high salaried professional careers in the STEM industry. Currently, the Teens on the Move program mentors 47 high school sophomore girls from Booker T. Washington High School. The Teens on the Move program has been in existence for over 20 years, positively impacting the lives of more than 508 girls and young women in the Atlanta community.
