The High Rise Show is the first event for Fulton County Arts & Culture’s 40th Anniversary celebration. It’s an immersive, multi-level art exhibition, taking place on four floors at GIRAFFE, 34 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303. It includes paintings, murals, photography, sculptures and more! Curated by ShowerHaus and co-produced with the Goat Farm, the exhibition is modeled after the famous 1980 Times Square Show, which introduced a roster of young artists including Jean Michel-Basquiat and Keith Haring. The High Rise Show features work by 100 emerging and established Georgia artists, and includes art from Fulton County’s 2019 Fine Art Acquisition, Miya Bailey and Peters Street Station, MINT, TILA Studios and The Creatives Project. The exhibition runs from October 4 – 19 and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is FREE.
