Sunday FUNday: Drypoint Printmaking
The allegorical prints in the special exhibition Through a Glass, Darkly were made with intaglio techniques in which the image was incised or scratched into a copper plate or other surface before inking the plate, layering with paper, and running through an etching press. After exploring the prints in the exhibition, visit the studio to try your hand drypoint, an intaglio process, and then print your image using the press!
Sunday FUNday is a free, drop-in event for all families. No registration is required.
Support for Sunday FUNdays is provided by The David R. Clare and Margaret C. Clare Foundation and Emory Point.
