The City of Roswell invites you to attend Southern Soul Fixins, a soul food cook-off event!
Roswell Roots welcomes amateur, youth and professional cooks to compete in the Southern Soul Fixins Cook-Off!
Come out and vote for your favorite dishes and enjoy live music and dance!
Entertainment provided by Djoli Kelen, Inc, at 3:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Djoli Kelen is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, highlighting and advancing the transformative power of African as well as African Diaspora dance, music, and culture in America.
Competitor categories include professional and amateur. First and second place will be awarded in each category as chosen by a panel of judges. A People’s Choice Award in each category will be given to the participant with the most votes from guests.

Roswell Roots, sponsored by the City of Roswell, Georgia, is one of the largest black history celebrations in North America. The month-long festival has continued to be a community and regional success for over 20 years. It is a celebration comprised of diverse aspects of art, literature, music, film, culinary arts and history.
