If you’ve ever been told you have good voice for voice acting, there’s a good chance there may be a seed for developing that voice into a career. But getting from a good voice to a good job is a unique journey that requires illumination – a lot of illumination. This session is designed to give you the practical steps to creating and sustaining a career as a voice actor. It will provide real-world examples and audience participation to unearth what the craft is really all about – allowing you to experience it for yourself. Plus, it will answer the most common questions: What kind of training is involved? Where do you find teachers? How do you find jobs? Do you have to be in the union? How much do you get paid? What’s the financial investment? Can you work from your own home studio? Do I have what it takes? How do you get an agent? When you walk away from this session, you’ll know if voice acting is for you and how to go about pursuing the journey.
