REIMAGINATION COLLAGE EXHIBITION
Collage describes both the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric, and other materials are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface.
REIMAGINE EXHIBITION is a group exhibit featuring artists using the timeless medium and process in their work. The exhibition aims to highlight the varying ways collage can be used to create diverse imagery. Seven very unique artists are represented in this exhibition.
From magazine cut outs and fabric pieces, to computer-based images and quilt making; a wide variety of approaches are represented in this show. These collage artists are giving a reboot to the tried-and-true analog medium. Whether they work with digital media or focus on paper, all of these contemporary artists are working with collage in inventive ways.
