PADV’s Gwinnett Fund Development Committee will host its 5th Annual Women in Action Forum on Friday, February 15, 2019 at The River Club. The Forum will shed light on the organization from within, showing the “Pulse Behind the Purpose” – this year’s event theme. The community will be given an in-depth look at PADV from a client’s perspective, starting with how a survivor enters PADV’s programs to using PADV’s resources to progress and eventually transition to safe and self-supported housing, free from the trauma of domestic violence.
All proceeds from the Forum will go directly to support the services of PADV’s Gwinnett shelter, the largest domestic violence safe house in Georgia.
Tickets for the Women in Action Forum, as well as information on sponsorships, are available on PADV’s website. Please contact our Special Events Director Nordene Bartley at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding Women in Action.
This year’s event will feature a video and guest speaker highlighting the ways in which PADV has impacted survivors of domestic violence and the entire community with our comprehensive programs and services.
PADV is the largest nonprofit domestic violence agency in Georgia with the mission to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors.
