Midtown Atlanta Parliament of Owls Lantern Parade
Elegantly weird, Parliament of Owls is a black and white owl themed lantern parade based in community participation. Everyone is invited to make an owl lantern and walk in the parade!
We flock in the new Plaza at Colony Square at 8:30pm and step-off at 9pm with the Black Sheep Ensemble! The parade route is just under a mile and finishes back at Colony Square. Check out the route: https://tinyurl.com/padcfk4w
Any kind of black and white owl lantern made of any material is welcome! Lantern parades love invention. For easy owls, Owl Lantern Kits are for sale, there is one drop-in workshop, and free owl mask prints are available! Head over to www.chantellerytter.com/parliament-of-owls for all the info!
NOTE: In regards to COVID, we will be together in a huge outdoor space for less than two hours. This is a good thing to go to! Please give generous space between yourselves and other participants. Participants are asked to walk 6ft behind the band. Per CDC guidelines, masks are recommended for non-vaccinated people.
Parliament of Owls is Chantelle Rytter Project with the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, sponsored by Midtown Alliance and hosted by Colony Square.
