Daniela Petrova will talk about her immigrant experience, the importance of libraries in her life, and her debut novel, Her Daughter's Mother. The book was named “Best Beach Read of 2019” by both O, The Oprah Magazine and The New York Post and one of five thrillers to read this summer by Time Magazine. She is a recipient of an Artist Fellowship in Writing from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Her short stories, poems, and essays have been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Salon, and Marie Claire.
