Lord Nelson Mass by F.J.Haydn
Missa in Angustiis (“Mass for Troubled Times") in D minor, or as it is more commonly known, the Lord Nelson Mass, is recognized by many musical historians to be F. J. Haydn’s greatest composition. The 120-voice MOS chorus will be joined by soloists and an orchestra of three trumpets, timpani, strings, and organ to present this rarely-performed masterwork. With Bevin Hill, Soprano; Gabrielle Beteag, Mezzo-Soprano; Nathan Munson, Tenor; Brent Davis, Bass-Baritone; and Michael O’Neal, Conductor.
