Make new friends and test your design skills on Tuesday, October 16, in the company of our friends from IDSA Atlanta, the Industrial Designers Society of America!
Ever wonder how designers make the technologies we come to know and love? What's the process for ideating, making, and testing the objects, systems, and services that become important parts of our lives? The answer: lo-fi (low fidelity) prototyping.
In this workshop, members of the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) will help us envision the future of cutting-edge technologies like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence through the power of prototyping. Together, we'll learn about the process of low fidelity prototyping through human-centered design and think about how these innovative technologies could interact with our everyday lives. We'll form teams and choose an innovative technology to design for (like augmented reality or holograms). Then, teams will use low-fidelity materials like cardboard, post-it notes, and masking tape to build a lo-fi version of what we hope the future might bring.
Price of admission is $10 for MODA and IDSA members and $15 for non-members
