Slow Food Atlanta is partnering Chef Zu of Kings Apron, Elevating Equity and GENERATOR to host the Living Color Racial Equity Dialogue Dinner on Sunday, May 19, at 5 p.m. Guests will enjoy a sustainable and vegan five-course dinner featuring farm-to-table ingredients. The purpose of the dinner is to collectively share ideas based around a set of questions on what Racial Equity is, how it works and why we should all become more involved with advocacy. All guests will leave with a “Elevating Equity Toolkit” to take back into their workspaces and food communities and a curated reading list for those interested in becoming an ally. Ticket pricing is based on a model introduced by Slow Food Atlanta for this dinner, "Equitable Ticket PricingSM,” reflecting the 2018 gender, race and ethnicity wage gap.
