This May, “Live from Woodruff Park” returns to Downtown’s central greenspace, where a weekly series of concerts will be held on the lawn in partnership with Atlanta Jazz Festival’s 31 Days of Jazz program, which hosts jazz events from May 1-31.
On Wednesday evenings in May, attendees can enjoy opening and headlining bands on Woodruff Park’s Main Lawn, including “queen of the blues guitar” Beverly Watkins and beloved Atlanta vocalist Ruby Velle & The Trio.
Live from Woodruff Park is free and open to the community, with food and beverages available for purchase, in addition to the many nearby dining options that surround the park. The event series is family-friendly and open to all ages. Picnic baskets, blankets, and chairs are welcome.
