Lenox Square is once again welcoming Livable Buckhead for its annual PARK(ing) Day on Friday, September 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Each year, Buckhead’s iconic shopping destination and Livable Buckhead invite citizens, artists and activists to temporarily transform parking spaces into public places. PARK(ing) Day helps call attention to the need for more urban open space; to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated; and to provide a fun opportunity for positive community interaction in the most unlikely of spots. Each of the mini parks will have interactive elements, and visitors can cast votes for their favorites. Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
