Head to The Rink at Park Tavern for Ice Skating Lessons for All Ages

An annual tradition, The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero is open for the 2020-2021 season and has joined forces with the Learn to Skate program to offer ice skating lessons taught by professional skaters.  The dynamic program developed for all ages and skill levels is led by Olympic Coach Craig Maurizi. Group and individual lessons follow COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines from the CDC and State of Georgia and are available now through Monday, February 15, 2021.

“We are excited to bring our Olympic program to such a beautiful space this season.  Our professional staff is thrilled to offer lessons to patrons of all ages and levels,” said 4-time Olympic Coach and director of the program, Craig Maurizi,  “Best of all, this unique opportunity provides a pandemic-safe activity during the holiday season.” The ice skating lessons are a nationally recognized program that The Rink at Park Tavern has adopted this season and intends to partner with in future years.

Lessons will be offered daily on the 85-foot long and 40-foot wide, covered rink that is heated and boasts a state-of-the-art sound system.  Before, during, and after their lessons, skaters are invited to take in a Miracle on 10th Street at The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero. A  winter wonderland featuring an abundance of festive and kitschy decor will only add to every lesson and make for unforgettable experiences and Instagrammable moments.    

Learn to Skate group lessons are $25, private lessons are $40, and $100 for a five-pack (5th lesson is free).  Students that participate in the ice skating lessons will receive certificates and rewards for passing skill levels.  For questions about the skating program, email  skatingacademylessons@gmail.com.

The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero is open Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Guests of all ages can enjoy skating experiences for $15 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday until 8 p.m. At 8:30 p.m., The Rink at Park Tavern becomes an ages 16 and up venue until midnight.  Group packages and Season and Family Passes are also available.  To purchase tickets, sign up for the Learn to Skate program, and for more information, visit www.parktavern.com.
