Found Stages presents for the second time Frankenstein’s Ball: An Immersive Holiday Experience at the Highland Ballroom Inn. Due to popular demand, the experience will now be offered for three nights: December 29th from 7pm-10pm, December 30th from 7pm-10pm, and on New Year’s Eve, December 31st 9pm-January 1st 1:00am. The event takes place at the Highland Inn and Ballroom on North Highland Avenue in Atlanta, Ga.
Audiences will step into Frankenstein and Mary Shelley’s eccentric world of monsters, poets, and madmen. Mary Shelley’s contemporary, the radical romantic poet Lord Byron, is throwing a New Year’s Eve party. But as the clock nears midnight, Mary’s nightmares start to take over. The characters she imagined for herself become real. They haunt the lively party, enlisting guests in their machinations and unsettling the author. Artistic Director Nichole Palmietto describes this experience as “part party, part theatrical show.” General access to the event includes a real-life champagne toast at midnight as well as light bites through-out the evening and access to the Highland Ballroom full bar.
The production of Frankenstein’s Ball includes an original score and live musicians, original dance choreography, intricately detailed period costumes, and scenic designs that imaginatively enhance the architecture of the existing space.
Please note this show is appropriate for families with teenagers.
Tickets start at $60.00 and are available online at foundstages.org/tickets
