The North Fulton Community Charities food pantry, located at 11270 Elkins Road, Roswell, has a continual need for food and staple products. Here is the list from their website as of November 23rd:
|HIGH NEED||NEEDED||NOT NEEDED|
Jason Roberts – mandolin, guitar and backing vocals
Brian Mobley – vocals, bass and guitar
Andy Robinson – guitar, bass and backing vocals
Stanley Parker – drums and percussions
Fisheye is greater than the sum of its parts. Brian has a good voice. Jason is talented on both guitar and mandolin. Andy has an ear for harmony. And Stanley keeps a good beat. Stir in the work of three prolific songwriters in Brian, Andy and Jason. Add some practice, luck, and special sauce and there you have the basis of Fisheye.
Jason hails from Nottingham, UK where he was part of a pop-rock band called The Essentials. After moving to Atlanta, GA he hooked up with Brian to form a folk-rock group called The Diamond Geezers. Following several dormant years, Jason and Brian teamed up with Andy and Fisheye was born. Stanley has been keeping the Fisheye beat since 2011, the drum stool having previously been occupied by Doug Ward. Stanley honed his skills with Atlanta band Mrs. Robinson’s Daughter.
Keltic Kudzu, an Atlanta GA-based performance group, performs traditional and contemporary Celtic music with a ‘Southern accent’ along with contemporary covers with a ‘Celtic accent’. Join Lori, Kelly, Tom, and Tim as we we dig for the Celtic roots, playing our interpretations of music ranging from traditional tunes to contemporary covers, from Planxty to Paul Simon and from Loch Lomond to Louisiana, Newfoundland, Galway, Liverpool and beyond. Our music features strong vocal harmonies and melodies along with a wide variety of instruments including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki, whistles and bass pedals.
