Fall Float on the Flint
Join the Georgia River Network and Flint Riverkeeper on Oct 9-12 (3-day and 2-day options available) for a weekend paddle on the captivating Lower Flint River. We’ll travel 48 miles from Baconton to Bainbridge and take in the best of what the Flint has to offer, including beautiful blue hole springs, lively shoals, rich history, abundant wildlife, and more! Fashioned after our annual week-long Paddle Georgia events, we will tent camp on the river two nights at Rocky Bend Flint River Retreat.
Like our annual summer adventure, we will enjoy catered meals, educational programs, and great camaraderie as we make our way down one of Georgia’s most stunning rivers. You can choose from a 2-day option that includes Saturday and Sunday’s paddle (Oct. 10-11) or join for the full three-day trip, which ends on Monday, Oct. 12.
This event attracts people from all walks of life who have one thing in common: their love for paddling!
