Eddie Owen Presents: Farewell Tour, Old Sweater and Cutcard
Sun, March 31st 7:30pm
Live at Red Clay Music Foundry
General Admission: $10 in advance ($15 day of show)
Spawned from a love of breaking stuff and a hate for chart-toppers, Farewell Tour embodies the atmosphere of the smokey basement (aka "The Hole") where it all started. Their name stands for what they bring to the stage: an aggressive ray of rawness and unity brought on by the thought of "This could be the last breath". They truly want to die doing this, and they will do whatever it takes to bring rock and roll back to it's former glory. Just as long as there's some Havoc along the way...
Old Sweater is an Atlanta take on New York alternative, complete with large fuzzy barre chords laden with beepy gliding leads. The band was formed in 2017 out of a bedroom project and since then, allover has put out their debut single and plan to release much more in the coming year.
Cutcard is a band from Suwanee Georgia, the members are Nick Mock (lead vocals and guitar), Nick Pedersen (bass and backing vocals), and Cris Gonzalez (drums and backing vocals). All three of the members met in high school. Once they had their first practice, it was obvious there was potential for a great band. After a couple of small gigs, they were asked to open for Third Eye Blind at the Sugar Hill Bowl. After that, they acquired a bigger following and decided to go into the studio.
