Two concerts, by a brand new social justice choir, Voices Found, will focus on the current mental health crisis. They will feature music solely from composers who suffered from mental illness, from Rachmaninoff to Gesualdo, and from Nina Simone to Kurt Cobain. A portion of ticket sales will benefit organizations supporting mental health awareness. Dec 7 at 7p at Decatur Presbyterian Church, 205 Sycamore St. and Dec 8 at 4p at Holy Trinity Parish, 515 E. Ponce de Leon Ave (Decatur). Voices Found aims to give voice to the voiceless; to raise awareness and to start conversations about topics that marginalize people in society.
