Cathy McIntire will be the guest speaker for the Atlanta Post Polio Association which will meet,, Saturday, April 4 from 1-3 pm at the Shepherd Center located at 2020 Peachtree Road, Atlanta. Cathy will discuss her art as she has always been an artist, lover of animals and an observer of people. Art has always been an important part of who she is. She graduated from college with a BFA and has always worked in the arts field whether in commercial or fine art. She earned her Signature status in two professional painting societies, participated in regional and national juried exhibitions and also participated in numerous gallery exhibits that included two solo shows. She belongs to numerous art associations. She is a member of APPA and has been a board member.
The group invites the public and the post polio survivors to attend the meeting. APPA is a nonprofit organization that provides emotional and educational support for individuals, families, friends, and caregivers affected by post polio syndrome.The group invites guests and the public to join them for lunch in the Shepherd cafeteria from 11:30 am to 1 pm and then proceed to the 6th floor room C for Cathy's presentation.
