Donald Milton III, the Artistic Director of the AGMC, has hand-selected a wide range of songs to get you in the holiday mood. The men will perform tunes ranging from classical favorites like "Ubi Caritas" to pop classics like Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas (Is You)” and Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas."
“So many people have made coming to The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus Holiday Show their holiday tradition. Folks want to see the men every year because it is one of the biggest parties in town” Milton explained. “Not only do we sing the beautiful, soul stirring holiday numbers, but we bring joy and hilarity into the mix. It’s more than just a pretty holiday show!”
And it will definitely be more than a pretty show — the AGMC is giving audiences the opportunity to join in its mission to drive social change and serve the greater community.
The AGMC is working with Lost-n-Found Youth to serve Atlanta’s homeless LGBTQ youth by calling on audiences to help fulfill needs for this underserved population. Audience members are encouraged to bring items from a wish list that will be passed on to help clients of Lost-n-Found Youth.
Those wishing to participate can find the wish list through our website at https://www.voicesofnote.org or access the list directly at https://tinyurl.com/wishlist-LNF. From there they can either purchase gifts and send directly to Lost-n-Found Youth or purchase an item locally, wrap them in a box or gift bag and drop off their donation item(s) at our reception booth at St. Philip before heading in to enjoy our spectacular show.
