ATLANTA CHILD ACTOR CO-STARS IN POWERFUL FEATURE FILM
Imagine being just six years old and booking a co-starring role in your first feature film! Sydney Kowalski did just that!
Even at her young age Sydney has worked in the Industry for years. Her feature film debut, Blue Bayou from Focus Features, recently premiered at the 2021 Cannes film festival and opens in theatres nationwide on September 17th. In the film she plays Jessie LeBlanc opposite writer/director Justin Chon and Alicia Vikander. She was also featured at Cannes 2021 in the short film (Dis)Connected produced by Atlanta Workshop Players where she trains weekly. Sydney can also be seen in the hugely popular HBO Max series Doom Patrol as Clara Steele and Lifetime’s Girl in the Basement as Young Marie Cody. Sydney's hobbies include making her own movies at home, singing Broadway tunes, dancing, art, reading and traveling/exploring. She loves animals of all kinds, especially her dog Jerry who is a black lab/retriever.
Sydney will be attending a special screening of Blue Bayou and participating in a talk back and photo opportunities on September 26 at 4 PM at the Springs Cinema and Taphouse in Sandy Springs.
