Fusion Chamber Ensemble presents a chamber concert unlike any other!
The creative vision of Fusion Founder and Artistic Director Karin R Banks together with Artistic Consultant Christopher Mosley and Founding Artist Gerald Freeman finds a way to integrate the special features of the Gerald Freeman Jazz Ensemble, the Aida Chamber Ensemble and World Music.
Fusion presents composers, instruments and musical styles from the Americas in its opening concert “Around the World in a Season: Landscape of the Americas”.
Featuring master improvisor Gerald Freeman, Atlanta percussionist Paul Vogler on steel drums and Native American flute player Charles Mato-Toyela, and original works, this concert promises an exciting integration of music from American composers and instruments of indigenous peoples from North, Central and South America.
This is the first in a series of three concerts where Fusion will explore composers, musical styles and instruments from around globe.
