Since the dawn of time humans have been captivated by the creatures that roamed the planet. First, as in the primal dance of eat or be eaten, then gradually looking toward animals to help them hunt and work in the fields. As humans evolved, so did their perception of animals, until their fears turned to curiosity, then admiration, and now today, we happily look to our animals for companionship, and often think of them as our four-legged family members.
Join Shezmu Cellars in celebrating the evolution of our connection to animals with Barbara Rush and Animalis. As a master of color and movement, Ms. Rush, has created an intricate weaving of shapes and colors using her artistic genius to create art featuring your four-legged family members. Inspired by cubism, Rush delights in the geometry of lines, shapes and colors creating combinations that uplift the viewer as abstract shapes converge to reveal a delightfully recognizable form.
