Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Georgia's first, largest and most experienced nonprofit working to end domestic violence, is hosting its fifth annual Men’s Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 8 – 10 a.m. at SunTrust Park in the Delta Dining Club.
This year’s session titled, “What to Do When the Ball's Thrown to You," will focus on finding an appropriate and effective response to various domestic violence situations that helps keep the survivor safe and doesn’t create danger for the person intervening. This event is free, but space is limited. A stadium tour will also be included immediately following the event for those interested.
PADV’s Men’s Leadership Breakfast Series is a program created to encourage more men to be involved in the fight against domestic violence. The program was formed at the end of 2016 with the first breakfast taking place in March of 2017. In conjunction with Hilton Hotels, the breakfast series began after a valued Hilton Atlanta employee was shot and killed by her boyfriend while she was at work.
