Atlanta Musicians Orchestra presents “Romance in the Winter”
Atlanta, GA – November 20, 2019 – The Atlanta Musicians’ Orchestra will be holding their winter concert:
Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the First Christian Church of Decatur, 601 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA at 3:00PM.
This performance will feature a selection of romantic pieces, including Elgar’s “Chanson de Nuit”, “Chanson de Matin”, and “Salut d’Amour”, the Overture to “Cavalleria Rustica” by Mascagni, the 3rd movement of Rachmanifnoff’s “Symphony #2”, “Overture to La Traviata” by Verdi, and Offenbach’s “Overture to Orfeo and Euridici”. The concert has no required ticket fees, but a suggested donation of $10 is suggested.
The orchestra is conducted by Dahlan Robert Foah, Music Director. The Atlanta Musicians’ Orchestra is a community orchestra with musicians ranging from amateurs to professionals.
